Agenda
Here are some projects the group
is currently working on and some ideas we have for the future.
- Recruiting new members
(You are welcome no matter who you are. Future meeting dates will be
posted under Important Notices on the left.)
- Creating posters for the Person of the Month to be included on the
bulletin board.
- Creating a logo specifically for East's GSA to be printed on posters,
shirts, etc. Considering: L.I.F.E (Love is for Everyone).
Transgender Day of Remembrance - Sunday, November 20, 2005
The Transgender Day of Remembrance was set aside to memorialize those
who were killed due to anti-transgender hatred or prejudice. This
event is held every November to increase awareness of these hate crimes
and to show support for the murdered victims and their allies. (Day

Day of Silence - Tuesday, April 11, 2006
The Day of Silence is a
student-led day of action where those who support making anti-LGBT bias
unacceptable in schools take a day-long vow of silence to recognize and
protest the discrimination and harassment -- in effect, the silencing --
experienced by LGBT students and their allies. (Day
