Science is alive at Bridge Valley Elementary School!

Students explore the wonderful world of science during a week long celebration. The celebration has many wonderful components that bring science alive for our students.   During the school day parents, teachers, and the members from the Bridge Valley Community share their passion for science through grade level presentations on various topics.   In addition, student classes participate in hands-on science experience in our "science lab" that is run by our parent volunteers.   Students also learn about the exciting interactive activities that are available at www.learningscience.org presented by George Mehler.  We will close our science fun this year with a Science Family Fun Night presentation.  Families are invited to see a presentation by John Hadfiled's: The Science Show.  Families will end their evening making GAK and enjoying a snack.  This is a highly anticipated and exciting event for our students and we would LOVE for you to share this special week with us.

"Science Lab" Volunteers
These volunteers help in our "science lab" during classroom visits by running the "hands-on" experiment. You do NOT need to be a scientist to run these experiments.  All materials are supplied and a written description of the experiment and scientific experiment is provided for you.
