This is a course intended for all students in grades 10-12 who wish to study the relationship of the arts to mankind and explore the origins of artistic innovation in relation to artifacts, historic events, and changing political and social situations. Units encourage the involvement of students with the community and other arts related members of the community. These units involve studio, research, and performance as well as discussion. This course meets in a 90 minute block for 9 weeks.
