    Degrees and Certifications:

    Ms. Heather Saltzman

I am so excited to return to Central Bucks for a second school year. This year, I travel between Holicong, Tohickon, Tamanend and Central Bucks East. Working in four buildings is a great way to meet many talented students and staff at Central Bucks, and I look forward getting to know each of you! Here's a little information about me. I graduated from Penn State University with an Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Arts. I studied Journalism and Design, which led me to a career in publishing as an art assistant at Time, Inc in New York City. During my time at In Style and Real Simple Magazine I met many inspiring artists, photographers, writers and designers. However, I missed creating art in a bustling studio. I attained an art education certification at Arcadia University and enthusiastically began a career in teaching. Since then, I have taught many art disciplines at various levels from preschool to high school. I am thankful for a job that enables me to work creatively with an amazing group of students!

I graduated from Moravian College, seemingly a million years ago. I earned my Masters Degree from Wilkes University. Previously, I taught in Allentown and Bethlehem School Districts, as well as at Pennridge School District (my alma matter). This is my 9th year teaching at Holicong. I have a strong concentration in sculpture and crafts. I love working with my hands and getting messy when I create. I have two young children at home, my husband is a Mechamical Engineer and avid disc golfer, and we have three adoring pets, a dog and two cats. In my spare time I like to read Jodi Piccoult books, jog, and take photographs of my family. - See more at:
